Dear Friends,

Getting out of Egypt is just the first step.  Just because we’re  not slaves doesn’t mean that we are free.  The next more important step is getting the Egypt out of us!  In this week’s talk, we learn fundamental consciousness based tools for owning our freedom.

Dear Friends,

The first mitzvah the Jewish people get as a nation is to sanctify time. This is very deep because when you think about it, all a person really has is time.  Now that we are free, how are we going to use it?  We explore this idea as it relates to connecting the heart and the mind, and two key Talmudic foundations — that Hashem prepares  the healing before the punishment, and that people are led in the direction that they want to travel.

Dear Friends,

We are commanded to be a light unto the nations, yet while living outside the land the lure of other cultures is often irresistible.  How do we remain strong in our identity while simultaneously being immersed in another culture?  What is the balance and how do we achieve it?

Dear Friends,

All of us want to blessed with abundance — but coping with it is another matter all together.  To give one example, it actually is possible to be too smart for your own good.  In this week’s talk, we explore the issue of plenty, how to avoid the dangers of it, and how to turn it into true sustainable blessing.

Dear Friends,

If I told you the person dressed in rags that just walked into the room was a mufti-millionaire — I guarantee you’ll treat him differently.  You’ll imagine that he’s eccentric and most probably a genius.  Maybe if you’re nice to him he’ll even give you money.  Speech creates perception.  Perception creates reality.  We are now in the book of Shemos which means Names in English.   It is also called the book of Redemption.   In this week’s talk we discuss the connection between Naming things — i.e. defining your terms — and Redemption.

Dear Friend,

Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan put it this way.  Our bodies are the hardware and our souls are the software.  And just like software can exist independently of the hardware, so too, our soul after it leaves our body not only continues to exist, but has imprinted on it all our our memories and levels of attainment.  Or put another way, we really do live forever.

Dear Friends,

Four amazing “coincidences” happened to me this week.   I’ve been trying to wrap my brain around this subject for quite a while now and bring you fresh info from the never ending search to decode life.

PS – Here is the link I promise in the talk.  It’s another incredible story.

A real miracle or the doing of extraordinary people?

Dear Friends,

Every person is so needed by G-d.  One expression of this is the fact that every Jewish person corresponds to a particular letter in the Torah.  Just like a Torah scroll is unkosher if it is missing one letter, so too if one of our brothers or sisters is missing we can’t be complete, either.  But what does this connection mean on an even deeper level?  In this talk we dive into the deep end.

Dear Friends,

This talk addresses a fundamental issue in faith.  Namely, is G-d involved with His world?  Having created it, does He still take an active part?  I exist — but do I matter?  There are many people who say they believe in G-d but don’t really.  There are many people who say they don’t believe in G-d but really do.

Dear Friends,

We all desperately want to be happy.  But how? In this week’s talk we lay out a detailed program for success in this most crucial area of life.
